The holidays are over and just seven weeks remain until the aldermanic and mayoral elections! My opponent is waging an active and visible campaign, so we have no time to waste. I need your help NOW!
Please join me for a RALLY TO RE-ELECT JOE MOORE this Saturday, January 8th, 10 a.m., at the campaign headquarters, 1774 W. Greenleaf (at Ravenswood). Refreshments will be served.
Come learn the many ways you can help ensure I’m re-elected to the City Council. Door-to-door work and phone banking are the most critical components of the campaign, but I could also use your help in getting my signs out and joining me as I greet commuters at the transit stops.
If you are able to help with door-to-door work on Saturday, please dress for the weather as we will be heading out together immediately following the rally.
Bring your friends and neighbors! I look forward to seeing you on Saturday!

Please watch this TheRealNews.com video about my innovative use of participatory budgeting in the 49th ward. By allowing 49th ward residents to vote directly on how their tax dollars are allocated, I’ve been able to give them a stronger voice in local government.

VIDEO PART I – PART II CONTINUES BELOW.
My friends and neighbors, tonight I stand before you to launch my campaign for re-election as Alderman of the 49th Ward.
The official start of the Chicago municipal election season began this morning when I filed my nominating papers containing the signatures of 6,608 49th Ward residents. This was by far the most petition signatures I have ever gathered in any of my aldermanic bids and reflects the wide support I have earned over the last four years.
