Chicago Teachers Union endorses Joe Moore

Alderman Joe Moore was honored to receive the endorsement of the Chicago Teachers Union, which represents 30,000 hard working members devoted to educating Chicago’s children. Moore has been a consistent voice in support of school funding and the rights of educators. CTU President Karen Lewis, in announcing the union’s endorsement slate for 2011, “We have to work day and night so that we have a City Council that hears educators’, parents’ and students’ message loud and clear — improve our neighborhood schools now.”
